1986 Hatteras 41 Convertible

The Hatteras 41 Sportfish Convertible ushered in a new era of sportfish/convertible styling. With the raked bridge and stepped sheer line the 41' Hatteras exterior lines are timeless. With engine air intakes located below the cockpit coaming, her sides are clean and uncluttered.  CLAM is an unmolested example of this classic, a rarity.

Stepping aboard you'll find a generous 125 square feet of cockpit with bolsters on three sides. A fiberglass swim platform with swim ladder provides easy access thru the transom door to the generous (125 Sq Ft) cockpit. Upholstered bolsters on three sides make this a comfortable space for fishing or entertaining. A workstation is to starboard and flybridge ladder is to port.

Stepping inside the salon you are surrounded by 132 square feet of Hatteras luxury. Teak bulkheads and a carpeted sole give this salon a warm rich feel. An L shaped couch with storage underneath is located to starboard and directly forward is a built-in entertainment center with flat screen TV, Fusion Stereo. The functional and spacious galley is located to port and is equipped with all the necessary equipment for cruising and entertaining.

Forward of the galley and down three steps, to starboard you’ll find a comfortable and private guest stateroom with upper and lower berths. The guest stateroom is equipped with a nightstand, combination dresser/hanging locker, mirror and ample storage. Directly across the companionway is the head. This well appointed head offers the space and luxury of larger boats. Inside you will find a separate clear safety glass stall shower, mirrored cabinet, a cultured marble vanity countertop with a molded sink and storage cabinets below. The owners stateroom is forward - surrounded in rich teak the owners stateroom has a walk-around island queen berth that really maximizes comfort and convenience. There are twin dressers and closets with full length mirrors on both port and starboard sides of the stateroom. There are storage drawers below the bed as well.  Private access to the head is located on the port aft bulkhead.

Moving back outside and up the flybridge ladder you’ll find a roomy bridge with seating for two at the helm and bench seating forward and to port of the helm. The view both fore and aft is commanding yet not overwhelming. A fiberglass hardtop provides protection from the sun and elements. A nicely equipped helm gives full control over the vessel, electronics array includes a recent Standard Horizon GPS Chart CP590.
