This Eastbay 45 Salon Express shows like a new boat, from her Awlgripped and Clear Coated Flag Blue Hull to her spotless bilge.  Among the annual upgrades are all new Furuno electronics (2017) and the HD 4' open array radar (2018), ablated and barrier coated bottom in 2017, custom bedding in both MSR and guest/office stateroom.  In 2016 the owners added a Freedom Lift, an 11' AB inflatable and a 30HP Yamaha outboard (2017). Layout

The layout is a double cabin master forward with island modified queen berth, versatile guest cabin/study to starboard, single head with a separate stall shower, galley down open overhead to above salon deck.  The helm shares space with the salon where there is abundant seating including a U-shaped dinette with custom table suitable for entertained and dining for six.  The salon door exits aft to the large cockpit which has additional custom seating and amenities.

Salon and Interior Features

Entry to the salon is through a Dutch door which splits for great ventilation.  Upon entry the dramatic curves of aft glass panels give way to large opening side and front windows, creating 360 degree visibility and exceptional ventilation.  To port is a large U-shaped settee and table, while starboard is a custom entertainment cabinet concealing a swiveling hi-lo TV, and flanked on each side with club-like chairs.

Galley

Master Cabin

The master cabin is forward and configured with an island modified queen berth with large drawers beneath.  Custom mattress, fitted bedding with shams and throw pillows.  The cabin sides are beautifully built out with numerous cabinets, lockers and drawers, with hull sides finished with beautifully built teak batten boards.  The overhead is Nautilux vinyl with recessed Cantalupi lighting and shaded reading lights frame the upholstered headboard.  Ventilation and natural light is provided by 2 opening stainless steel port lights and an overhead opening deck hatch all with screens and shades.  The head with stall is accessible en-suite from this cabin as well as from the passageway.

Office/Guest Cabin

The study/guest cabin arrangement offers the optimum versatility available in the 45SX.  It is easily adaptable to the varying needs of a cruising boat in this size.  A flip up/down writing/laptop desk with upholstered stool that stows below, forms a dedicated space for work while cruising.  The concealing pocket doors provide privacy, yet when open significantly enhance the spaciousness around the galley.
