Chitty Bang is an excellent choice for sailors who want to cruise in comfort and have the ability to steer from a protected pilothouse as well as the traditional cockpit. The Taswell All Season is designed to be sailed short handed in any kind of weather. The interior features an upper and lower helm as well as three staterooms, two with large double berths, one with upper and lower berths. There are two heads and a well appointed galley. Chitty Bang is one of very few true pilothouse boats on the market and has the advantage of being a center cockpit as well.

The companionway door from the center cockpit opens into the bright and spacious upper salon and the second helm station, surrounded by windows on three sides for superb visibility. From there are steps forward that lead down to the lower salon with a large dinette opposite the full galley. Forward, the companionway leads to a bunk room to starboard, opposite the head and shower, and the comfortable VIP stateroom.

The luxurious master stateroom is accessed by stairs to starboard and aft of the upper salon and helm station. In addition to the queen berth and private head and tub, there is a companionway leading to a small cockpit and the scoop transom with its double doors, convenient for boarding from the docks or a dinghy. Notable are:

Upper and Lower Dinette/Settees

The companionway steps from the center cockpit lead to the very bright and spacious upper salon with the navigation station and the interior helm to starboard, and large U shaped seating to port. There are steps forward that lead to the lower salon. The lower salon features a large U shaped settee on starboard and galley on port.

Galley

Master Stateroom Aft and En suite Head

The aft master stateroom contains a centerline queen berth with custom mattress, seating to port and aft, a large hanging locker and dressing counter with drawers and locker starboard. There are two opening hatches and six opening portlights in the cabin. The en suite head has a separate shower and tub. There is a private companionway that leads to an aft cockpit which has direct access to the swim platform.

Guest Stateroom Forward

The guest stateroom forward features a double V berth with lockers and shelves on both sides and drawers under. There is a dressing counter with mirrored door locker above and lockers under, and a hanging locker to port.

Guest Stateroom Starboard

The second guest stateroom is to starboard and has upper and lower berths with lockers, alcove and shelf, and a tall hanging locker.

Guest Head Forward

The two guest staterooms share the forward head to port with separate stall shower with teak grating and an acrylic door.

Hull, Deck and Cockpit

The deep center cockpit gives owners a safe feeling when in rough seas and when at anchor has plenty of space for relaxing. The smaller aft cockpit is reached from the master suite or the main deck and leads to the swim platform. Teak decks are enhanced by the teak cockpit seat, coaming top, sunbath recess and transom swim platform with shower. There are six Lewmar deck hatches for ventilation and light. The aft cockpit has an opening transom door that leads to the swim deck. This feature makes boarding the boat and leading the vessel from a dinghy or a dock very easy and convenient.
