New listing. A real head turner with her beautiful green hull. Shows pride of ownership and always good for compliments at every port.

The New England lobster boat has always been the backbone of the Northeast fishing fleets. The steep plump bow and gentle flare are designed to cut gracefully through the head seas while the rounded forward sections of the hull soften the ride. Flatter aft chines provide the lift needed to attain planing speeds, making these boats perform extremely well in a variety of sea conditions. The Pilot 34 Express shares this same heritage with a traditional look, but with modern construction methods.

A blend of elegance, comfort, and utility make the Pilot 34 a perfect getaway or weekend boat. A private forward stateroom is equipped with hanging lockers, drawers and even a TV/DVD. The head is spacious and includes a genuine Corian covered vanity, stand up shower, linen storage and an electric head and is located conveniently at the cabin entrance.

The convertible dinette houses extra storage, air conditioner, stereo and even a chart drawer. To port, the galley includes a refrigerator/freezer, two-burner range, microwave and some innovative storage and dish racks. Beautiful Corian counters are surrounded by sturdy fiddles, and the deep stainless steel sink is accompanied by a designer faucet/sprayer. A lot of thought has been given to this interior. Take the time to examine it all.

Already being recognized as a Classic due to superb design and layout that makes almost everyone happy and there few vessels that do that. Power is the venerable Yanmar 370 diesel inboard with just 1160 hours on it. Every amenity including bow thruster, newer bimini and enclosure. Upgraded Garmin 15" Radar/GPS, depth finder, vhf, auto pilot, air/heat, generator, custom stern seating. Her dark green Awlgripped hull sides set this Mainship apart from the rest.

Manufacturer Provided Description

The Mainship Pilot 34 has the seakeeping abilities of the lobster boats it has descended from. It has a steep plumb bow and a gentle rise of the sheer; both of these qualities give the Pilot 34 the ability to cut through head seas, while the rounded forward hull sections provide a soft entry. Flatter sections aft increase lift for speed and economy, and the deep full keel with a complete sand shoe gives stability and protection from grounding. In the cockpit, the Pilot 34 has double-wide helm and companion seats flanking the large hydraulically-assisted engine access hatch. The side lounges can double as berths with the removable backrests. A tilt-up console means easy access to electronics and wiring, and there is a built-in insulated cooler box as well as a standard transom door. Below, the cabin has a large head complete with Corian covered vanity, lots of storage, a shower, and a Jabsco electric head. The teak-trimmed galley offers plenty of storage, ample Corian counter space, a microwave, a dual cooktop, and a refrigerator and freezer. The large dinette easily converts to a double berth and includes plenty of storage. A color TV is standard and is easily viewed from the galley or dinette. Forward in the stateroom, hanging lockers and drawers will swallow gear for the weekend or a month. Extra-long berths guarantee a great night's sleep.
