Overview;

A striking boat with it’s flawless “Garnet Metallic” Imron painted hull, white topsides and perfect proportions.  This boat turns heads in any harbor!  With a length of 45’ and a beam of 13’ 11”, the Formula 45 Yacht is a big, spacious boat with room and accommodations for both entertaining and for cruising.  The large fiberglass swim platform with optional hydraulic lift provides room for your tender.  Enter the cockpit through the transom door and you’ll feel right at home with extensive seating/lounging options, an outdoor wetbar, TV, and more.  The “Coupe” design offers incredible panoramic visibility from the helm thanks to the unique windshield design.  A motorized sunroof adds to the airy feeling of the helm deck as ventilation is terrific.  This space is completely climate controlled by its own 30,000 BTU AC/Heat zone for all-weather comfort.  The space below is equally impressive - the owner’s stateroom is forward and the guest stateroom aft, separated by an immense main salon/galley area that has to be seen to be fully appreciated.

Walkthrough;

The large fiberglass swim platform is hydraulically actuated to ease launching and retrieving the tender.  The optional synthetic teak platform flooring is maintenance free and comfortable, a hidden SS swim ladder makes swimming a pleasure.  The aft trunk is accessed from the swim platform through a large curved hatch. The entire trunk raises for access to the walk-through engine room, day access is through a cockpit floor hatch.  Once on the platform, enter the cockpit via the starboard side transom door.  The cockpit is a great area to enjoy the sun using the convertible sunpad, while U-shaped seating with two Corian tables provides space for lounging, snacks or a full dinner.  The retractable Sureshade is a much desired option that transforms the cockpit to a shady refuge.

Moving forward there’s a two-tiered, L-shaped cockpit wetbar/beverage center to starboard featuring a molded sink, refrigerator/ice maker and trash bin – all underneath a Corian® countertop with hinged covers . The cockpit flatscreen TV is suspended overhead and swivels for all to watch.  The six-speaker AM/FM/CD/MP3/Bluetooth stereo, powered by a 300 watt amplifier and a 200 watt subwoofer, surrounds all aboard with high-fidelity audio.  Optional woven cockpit mats feel terrific underfoot and are easy-clean. 

The helm station features a wide helm seat facing the fully equipped helm – full engine instrumentation, twin color navigation screens, electronic engine controls, IPS Joystick, etc.  This centrally located command center offers unmatched 360 degree visibility with all controls at your fingertips.  A contoured Ultraleather settee faces the helm seat to port, a terrific spot to converse with the captain while underway.  The foredeck is accessed using molded in-dash fiberglass steps with a 316L stainless handrail leading thru the center windshield door. Twin sun pads with individual safety rails are mounted on the foredeck. The anchor windlass is under a hatch at the bow along with the stainless steel anchor.  Windlass controls are at the bow as well as the helm.

Moving down through the sliding cabin door, you enter the stunning main salon with L-shaped galley to port and U-shaped convertible dinette to starboard.  Blue backlighting combined with natural lighting, designer fabrics, birchwood floors, and Deep Cherry finished cabinetry really makes this a special place for meals, entertaining, or just some quiet time reading or watching a movie.  Two portlights with screens and fabric blinds let in fresh air while the twin skylights let in plenty of natural lighting.

The contemporary L-shaped galley’s Corian counters provide lots of workspace and lighting is terrific.  The fully equipped galley highlights include an upright fridge with separate freezer, in-floor pantry, flat top stove, twin basin SS sinks, undercounter convection microwave, and extensive storage spaces.  The large convertible dinette is served by U-shaped seating and two removable upholstered stools.  The cherry inlaid table is of adjustable height and can be lowered fully to form additional sleeping space.  A 40” flatscreen with Bose Lifestyle surround sound provides entertainment and is located forward of the dinette.  A backlit wine locker/glassware cabinet faces the dinette.  Salon headroom is 6’ 11”.

The master stateroom is forward and offers complete privacy with a glass pocket door.  The head compartment with vanity, to starboard, and shower area, to port, are separated to allow individual use. The head features a high-gloss Deep Cherry-finished vanity with Corian countertop, deep molded sink with wall faucet, Corian flooring and a VacuFlush toilet.  A hinged Corian seat fits over the toilet allowing use of the sink area as a vanity.  Cabinetry storage and large wall mirror complete the head’s list of features.  The separate shower to port offers an adjustable-height showerhead, a curved Corian shower seat, mirrored storage cabinet and Corian flooring.  Continuing forward, you’ll find a queen size centerline berth with memory foam mattress and four storage drawers underneath.  Cedar lined hanging lockers are to either side, the port locker contains a keypad safe.  A 24” flat screen with Bose speakers and Blu-Ray player and separate AC/Heat complete the picture.

The guest stateroom and head are aft, separated by the main salon so the staterooms feel very private.  There are two bunks that convert to a single queen berth with flip out filler cushions.  Generous overhead clearance makes this cabin feel much larger than most aft cabins.  A flat screen TV and lots of storage make this a very livable space.  The adjoining private head compartment, complete with shower and VacuFlush toilet, is convenient for day and overnight guests.

This Formula 45 Yacht is impeccable, an overused description but in this case it's apt.  Owned by a former Navy pilot, this boat has been thoughtfully and constantly maintained and updated.  She's priced to sell and seriously for sale so should be on your list.
